Fiat Chrysler Automobiles N.V.  will begin integrating Aurora Innovation, Inc. ’s autonomous driving Aurora Driver platform into its commercial vehicle lines. Aurora’s self-driving technology – which includes hardware, software, and data service components – can deliver SAE International Level 4 autonomy.

Per SAE J3016: Taxonomy and Definitions for Terms Related to On-Road Motor Vehicle Automated Driving Systems , Level 4 autonomy means that – under certain conditions – automated driving features can sense and navigate through an environment without any human interaction from the driver.
