Mercedes-Benz Is an Early Adopter of What3words Navigation

Mercedes-Benz is incorporating what3words Limited ’s three-word navigation technology directly into its standard vehicle navigation system.
The what3words system works by assigning a unique three-word address to every three-meter by three-meter square of the planet. This allows users to find precise locations by using three words that are significantly easier to remember and input, either by voice or text, than a typical street address. The system, developed in 2013, takes the guesswork out of pinpoint navigation by allowing users to find the entrance to a building or locating a remote spot in the wilderness.
