Militaries choose Marvin Test Solutions MTS-3060A SmartCan Gen2, with enhanced test capabilities and cybersecurity features, to support aircraft and armament systems at the flight line.

Marvin Test Solutions  Inc. – a provider of test solutions for aerospace, defense, and manufacturing organizations – is shipping its MTS-3060A  SmartCan Gen2 Universal O-Level Armament Test Set. Defense organizations in multiple countries have selected the MTS-3060A for flight-line test  to ensure mission readiness of complex armament systems flown on the F-15, F-16, F/A-18, and Hawk.

The Gen2 product builds on the features of Marvin Test Solutions’ MTS-3060 SmartCan Universal O-Level Armament Test Set, being used worldwide for O-Level test of smart and legacy armament systems. The MTS-3060 is replacing multiple obsolete test sets with a single handheld test solution that is smaller and easier to use while providing enhanced test capabilities, according to company officials.

The MTS-3060A SmartCan Gen2 provides full testing capabilities for MIL-STD-1760-based systems, and delivers augmented test capabilities, expanded weapons capability, enhanced cybersecurity, extended battery life, and additional communication channels.

The MTS-3060A is designed to make test procedure development easier, employing the company’s ATEasy  open-architecture software suite offering a simple-to-learn programming environment, comprehensive hardware and software simulation, and online user support through the M@GIC  customer portal.
