Ruggedized XMC Module

Extreme Engineering Solutions (X-ES) (Middleton, WI) has released the XPort9100, a ruggedized conduction-cooled XMC module that supports eight +28V general purpose input/output (GPIO) channels commonly used to control subsystems within military aircraft and vehicles. The XPort9100 is designed for use in avionics, as well as ground vehicle and ship-board applications, to control subsystems such as fire control and target acquisition systems. Each I/O signal is optically isolated, and each input channel of the XPort9100 can be configured to generate an interrupt. Each output channel is also capable of pulse-width modulation (PWM).
