Self-Encrypting Drives

DIGISTOR® (Vancouver, WA), a CRU Data Security Group (CDSG) brand, has added to its line of secure DIGISTOR Citadel™ self-encrypting drives with pre-boot authentication by introducing PBA to its Citadel C Series lineup. The new drives, powered by Cigent®, add the critical PBA function to their existing DIGISTOR C Series of self-encrypting drives. In addition, DIGISTOR is announcing that the Citadel C Series Advanced version has been listed by NIST as a FIPS 140-2 L2 certified storage device with NIST certificate #4294. Citadel C Series drives offer additional cybersecurity functions such as multi-factor authentication (MFA), zero-trust file access, unreadable storage partitions protected by non-recoverable keys, automated threat response that renders data invisible if Cigent Data Defense is disabled, and secure access logs that capture all insider threat activity. 2 Slot Rapid Rugged VPX Test System

LCR Embedded Systems (Norristown, PA) has released a dual slot rugged test system for VPX/SOSA aligned payloads that is part of its emerging RTS line. Designed for in-vehicle use, the RTS-210 allows functional testing at, or near, application-level environments. A front expansion module provides access to the development backplane and discrete I/O panel connectors, allowing for signal connectivity and backplane profile layout using Meritec cabling. The chassis offers backplane versions supporting the latest module profiles for four different VPX/SOSA aligned payload modules in up to three, 2-slot combinations (plus VITA 62 PSU slot). Slot options include VITA 67 full and half width apertures. Flight Data and Cockpit Voice Recorders

Curtiss-Wright’s Defense Solutions division (Ashburn, VA) introduced a 25-hour flight data recorder (FDR) and cockpit voice recorder (CVR) designed for use on military fixed-wing and rotor aircrafts. The latest additions to Curtiss-Wright’s Fortress® product family, the Fortress FDR-25 and Fortress CVR-25, are designed in accordance with RTCA/DO-178C and RTCA/DO-254 (DAL D) standards and meet or exceed all current FAA and EUROCAE ED-112A standard requirements. Fortress CVR-25 provides 4 channels of cockpit voice recording and 1 channel of CPDLC datalink recording, each for 25 hours minimum capacity supporting EUROCAE class 6 CVR requirements. Fortress FDR-25 supports parametric flight data recording for 25 hours minimum with data recording capacity up to 3,500 hours of data before the oldest data is overwritten, with a maximum data rate of 4,096 words per second.

Teledyne e2v (Grenoble, France) announced delivery of qualified flight models (FMs) of its advanced, space qualified, quad core Cortex-A72 edge processing platform - the LS1046-space. Clocked at up to 1.8 GHz, Teledyne e2v’s 64-bit LS1046-Space processor delivers 30k DMIPs. Linear DC Power Supply

RIGOL Technologies (Portland, OR) announced their next generation of Programmable Linear DC Power Supplies, the DP2000. This completely new benchtop power supply features 3 fully isolated channels with automatic internal series and parallel connections and an intuitive 4.3" touch screen. The DP2000 delivers high resolution for measuring low-range currents down to 1 μA, a high-speed sampling mode, an arbitrary output mode with a 1 ms dwell time, and low output noise and ripple < 350 μVrms. BittWare (Concord, NH), a Molex company, has introduced new card and server-level solutions featuring Intel® Agilex™ FPGAs. The new BittWare IA-860m helps customers alleviate memory-bound application workloads by leveraging up to 32 GB of HBM2e in-package memory and 16-lanes of PCIe 5.0 (with CXL upgrade option). Software options for the R&S SMW200A vector signal generator and R&S FSW signal analyzers have been upgraded to fulfil the latest 5G specification. The R&S FSVA3000 signal and spectrum analyzer and R&S SMM100A vector signal generator also handle 5G NR Release 17. Some key features for Release 17 include ultra-reliable low latency communications (URLLC) for industrial IoT, integrated access and backhaul (IAB), and radio access network slicing for NR. In addition, 3GPP extends the frequency support to 71 GHz.
