NASA and Boeing Partner to Advance Aviation

NASA research projects are flying aboard a Boeing 787 Dreamliner as part of Boeing’s 2020 ecoDemonstrator program. Results from these flights will help continuing development of technology to enable future aircraft designs and flight operations that will be quieter, more fuel efficient, and result in fewer delays.
The two research projects will gather data on aircraft noise and test an air traffic management digital data communications tool.
