Drone Flies Freely with Independently Controlled Wings

A research team developed an aerial vehicle that is able to control the main wings separately and independently.

A research team designed the main wings of the Nsphere aerial vehicle to be controlled separately and independently. The drone with independently controlled wings can take off and land vertically without runway and auxiliary equipment.

The Nsphere drone can freely control the amount of lift force gained by each wing, allowing agile movements in the horizontal flight mode. It can fly like a copter-type aerial vehicle in the vertical flight mode, and like a fixed-wing-type aerial vehicle in the horizontal flight mode.
