While Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), and Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment (HARA) are all different approaches to assessing overall product risk, most organizations performing such risk analyses fail to ensure consistency across these methods. This can lead to inefficiencies and the potential to miss critical risks that could be identified through an integrated approach. This 30-minute webinar will discuss the pitfalls of disconnected risk analysis and showcase how to take an integrated approach using software tools.
Topics include:
- An introduction to FMEA, HARA, and FTA and the need to digitize these processes
- Expert approach to handling single- and multi-point FMEAs using software
- How FMEA can be linked to HARA and used to generate FTA
- Leveraging FTA to understand relationships between potential failure causes and to support functional safety requirements traceability
Attendees will learn how to optimize risk analysis processes and ensure critical risks are not overlooked. An audience Q&A session will follow the technical presentation.
