New Wave Design’s (Eden, MN) V6065 is a next-generation heterogeneous embedded computing 3U VPX module featuring the AMD® Versal® Premium Adaptive System-on-Chip (ASoC), rugged optical and electrical high-speed IO, XMC site, and SOSA aligned profile options. The V6065 provides options for Versal® Premium VP1502 or VP1702 part selection. Teledyne FLIR (Goleta, CA) released its next generation of high-performance Hadron 640 dual radiometric thermal and visible camera modules. The ITAR-free Hadron 640+ and radiometric Hadron 640R+ provide industry-leading thermal sensitivity. All models are size, weight, and power (SWaP) optimized for integration into unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), unmanned ground vehicles (UGV), robotic platforms, and emerging AI applications utilizing Teledyne FLIR Prism™ software.

Microwave Mux Modules
Pickering Interface’s (Clacton-on-Sea, UK) new high channel count microwave MUX family (models 40/42-788) is based on superior-quality Radiall mechanical microwave switches, with bandwidth options from 8 GHz to 40 GHz, and versatile switching configurations, including single or dual SP8T, SP10T or SP12T multiplexers. As well as microwave switching applications, the modules also suit many uses across the RF spectrum where extremely low insertion loss and ultra-high isolation are critical. “These modules give you the highest RF and microwave switching performance available within a Pickering switching system,” noted Switching Product Manager at Pickering, Steve Edwards.

Mini Cube Test Chassis
Pixus Technologies (Waterloo, Ontario) has released their most compact test/development chassis dubbed the Mini Cube. The chassis is used for prototyping of 3U OpenVPX & SOSA aligned systems. The Mini Cube supports 5x VPX/SOSA aligned slots with a VITA 62 PSU or 4x slots with an internal low-cost 600W Pixus modular power supply with universal AC input. Backplanes in various speeds and SOSA aligned slot profiles are available as well as power and ground only format options. Card guides are interchangeable for air-cooled or conduction-cooled boards.

Low-Side Gate Driver
Littelfuse Inc. (Chicago, IL) announced the launch of the IX4352NE Low-side SiC MOSFET and IGBT Gate Driver. This innovative driver is specifically designed to drive Silicon Carbide (SiC) MOSFETs and high-power Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistors (IGBTs) in industrial applications. The key differentiator of the IX4352NE lies in its separate 9 A source and sink outputs, which enable tailored turn-on and turn-off timing while minimizing switching losses. An internal negative charge regulator also provides a user-selectable negative gate drive bias for improved dV/dt immunity and faster turn-off.

TE Connectivity (Harrisburg, PA) has introduced a new five-bay connector shell configuration for its MiniMRP (Mini Modular Rack Principle) Avionics and Electronics Packaging product family. The modular avionics architecture, based on ARINC 836A standards, enables an estimation of up to 40 percent space savings and up to 60 percent weight reduction compared to traditional avionics systems, providing increased computing power in smaller, lighter packages.
