Hybrid electric drive systems are not necessarily limited to intermediate-technology status. When paired with low-carbon alternative fuels, they can be longer-term solutions alongside battery-electric offerings, experts say, including in construction equipment and other off-highway vehicles. In this 60-minute webinar from the editors of Truck & Off-Highway Engineering, advantages of hybrid and electric drive systems, particularly in demanding off-highway environments, will be discussed, as well as the latest advancements in hybrid-system architectures.
Topics include:
- The advantages of electric-drive systems and how they benefit the construction industry
- The future of energy in construction equipment and the advancement of electric-drive systems
- Why hybrids are essential to the future of military, tactical, and commercial equipment
- Use case examples of the benefits of renewable fuels paired with electric-drive systems
An audience Q&A session will follow the technical presentation.
