Miguel Ángel de Frutos Carro, Director and CTO, UAV Navigation – Grupo Oesía

Miguel Ángel de Frutos Carro is the Director and CTO of UAV Navigation-Grupo Oesía, a Spanish company that specializes in designing control solutions for unmanned aerial systems, a sector in which he has more than 10 years of experience. Miguel is an Aerospace Engineer who holds a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, a master’s degree in artificial intelligence from the Universidad Internacional de La Rioja, and a master's degree in project management and organization from the Universidad Nebrija. His main areas of interest are guidance, navigation, and control systems in unmanned systems, with a special focus on artificial intelligence applications to increase autonomy and decision-making, a field in which he conducts doctoral research affiliated with the Center for Automatic Control and Robotics.

Ashish Parikh, Co-CEO, Doodle Labs

Ashish Parikh is the Co-CEO of Doodle Labs, which specializes in developing wireless connectivity systems for UAVs, UGVs, and connected teams. In recent years, the company has introduced novel networking features to enable drone swarms, flying beyond visual line of sight, and jamming-avoidance for contested environments. Prior to Doodle Labs, Ashish worked in a variety of leadership roles at technology startups and as a technology consultant at McKinsey. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Northwestern University and an MBA from The Wharton School.
